5th Annual Sun Sand & CTAM
San Juan, Puerto Rico

CTAM Caribbean’s 5th Annual educational event was a success with 31 attendees converging in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Caribbean Operator executive panel discussed advanced services and strategies they’ve employed to remain competitive, as well as how they’ll differentiate
themselves to maintain growth in 2010. In the afternoon, CTAM’s Dana Fragnoli-Piteo gave a special presentation on Life Stages and Life Styles, the recent CTAM Research study.

The previous night, attendees gathered at Baru in Old San Juan to enjoy a special social networking event. A guide from Legends of Puerto Rico gave a lively presentation to the group about Puerto Rican rums and cuisine, complete with tastings of both!


CCTA Annual Meeting– January 27-29, 2009

January 28, 2009 – NASSAU, BAHAMAS – CTAM Caribbean presented the CCTA Annual Meeting marketing session and brought back marketing veteran John Zamoiski (NMA Marketing Associates) to present “The Ten Commandments of Employee Motivation”. An audience of 30 programmers and cable operators from around the Caribbean region attended and took in the great info, pointers, and success stories that John shared. In addition to motivating employees through incentives and rewards, John discussed the different types of
contests that can be utilized with both employees and customers, and what sort of results they produce.

It was fantastic seeing many Chapter members in the Bahamas at our table in the Exhibit Hall. Congratulations to our CCTA raffle winners! Laurie Silverman from TV GUIDE won the coveted Coach handbag raffle for new members - welcome to the Chapter! And Beulah Jonis from ST MAARTEN CABLE won the Sony camcorder raffle for current members.
